Guacamelee! is strutting its way onto next gen consoles in its latest incarnation, the Super Turbo Championship Edition. The new features announced include:
- An extended story that includes the DLC content from Guacamelee! Gold Edition
- Two new areas that include riding a boat through the Canal of Flowers and dodging lava fountains inside the Volcano
- A new boss inside the Volcano- a three-headed skeleton named the Trio of Death
- New abilities that include the new INTENSO combat mode, chicken bombs and Independent Dimension Swapping
- New elite-class enemies
- Multiple save slots
- a dual currency system that allows you to permanently unlock items
GSTCE is expected to released in the second quarter of 2014 for Playstation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. If you haven't already played Guacamelee! you should check out our reviews for the PC and Vita versions.
