Football's national world championship tournament kicks off this summer in Brazil. Lets just hope that when it's over, they don't decide to invade Argentina or something since that's the cool thing for host nations of twice-a-decade national sports competitions to do now.
No doubt, as we get closer to this summer's World Cup, we'll hear all about how it's football at it's best. The problem is that it's not. In the past, World Cup matches have been dull, low-scoring even for soccer, defensive-minded affairs because the top teams are so stacked with talent that one mistake means you've lost.
No doubt, that won't be a problem for EA Sports 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. The average score of that game's virtual World Cup ought to be 5-4. Furthermore, it's already won the competition for longest sports game title of the year. Kudos, EAS2014FWCB!
2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is out this April.
