GOG.com is going back to regional pricing on its games — ouch, sorry, Australia. Kojima will step away from Metal Gear and Dean Hall will away from DayZ. Meanwhile, in Titanfall, the beta roped in two million unique players last week.
What are you playing this weekend?

I'll be spending a lot of the weekend with Cloudbuilt in preparation for my preview article, but aside from that I'll try to sneak in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. If I'm feeling really daring I may fire up something on Steam. Ever have one of those days where you look at your Steam library and think, "Over 150 games and nothing sounds good right now"? Yeah, that's me every weekend.

I will be diving headfirst into The Elder Scrolls Online beta this weekend. I'm looking forward to trying out what seems to be a beta that people are all over the place on. I finally get to decide for myself if I'm going to play this beyond a beta or not.

I'm finishing up my preview for the Steam edition of Chuck's Challenge 3D, so it's puzzles and nostalgia this weekend. Although Cyril will probably call me a greenhorn communist pigdog for not playing the original version of Chip's Challenge on the Atari Lynx, but I have a lot of fond memories of Chip's from the Win95 Entertainment Pack. I'm glad Chuck Sommerville finally got past the IP rights issues and got to make a proper followup.

This weekend sees me finally giving into the peer pressure from John to get into Battlefield 4. Of course, that is all based on the assumption that D3 won't run some uber-attractive tournament in Marvel Puzzle Quest that draws me in.

I'm excited to play through Thief this weekend as I purchased the game on a whim and fortunately at a heavily discounted price. John and I are also planning to play some Diablo III to get acquainted with the Loot 2.0 system that was recently introduced in the latest patch.

This weekend will be spent mostly skiing and then returning back to Ohio. This means a lot of Threes! and a few other games on my iPad and then possibly some Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and a few other games. I'm thinking about doing an FPS gaming cleanse in March to get away from games like Battlefield 4 and start to work on my backlog of games (I'm looking at you Last of Us).

I'm playing "If I were going to bed right now then maybe I could still get four hours of sleep," also known as World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. Actually, it's for that reason that I won't be playing World of Tanks this weekend. It's ruined my ability to function as a healthy, contributing member of society. Instead, I'll sneak in rounds of Hearthstone while I'm quote-unquote going to the bathroom. As it stands, I can see where there's clearly room for improvement in my deck-building ability. Watching my grandma play Solitaire hasn't quite prepared me for Hearthstone, and neither has skipping out on the whole Magic: The Gathering thing since 1993.

I'll be going HAM on some Blackguards this weekend. After skimming the tabletop rules for the game it's based on, I'm thanking the gods of role-playing that I have a computer to calculate all of the dice rolls for me. I'm too lazy to calculate THAC0 in AD&D 2nd Edition, so there's no way you'd get me to roll three sets of dice just to hit someone. Oh, I almost forgot — I'll also be spending a significant portion of my weekend watching Twitch beat the Elite Four with the rag-taggiest group of misfit Pokemon you ever did see.

I'm hunting bugs, oni, and Tomestones of Mythology. That means Earth Defense Force 2025, Toukiden, and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. And when I manage to find some free time I'll be working on finishing off Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.

It's all about Diablo III this weekend as a new patch has come out that changes the game. Better loot! Better difficulty levels! More stuff! I'm going to be spending most of my weekend playing with friends and finalizing any purchases on the auction house before they take it down in a few weeks. I'll probably get in a few rounds of Orion Dino Hunter as well. And finally, some Battlefield 4 will be in the mix.
