Earlier this month it was revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was a very short game, apparently only taking about two hours to complete the main story. This angered many fans who felt like they were paying for a glorified demo, but it was even more frustrating for fans looking forward to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game which cost $39.99 ($10 more than their previous generation counterparts). In a last minute show of goodwill toward their fans, Konami has decided to price cut the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game to bring them in line with the previous gen, and even price cut the digital version of Ground Zeroes on Xbox 360 and PS3 $10 as well (down to $19.99). This will no doubt satisfy some of the angered fans, but I don't know if $10 is enough to appease them all.
To me this change is a no brainer. Personally, I was looking forward to getting Ground Zeroes on my PS4 until I learned about the $40 price tag. I was ready to concede and grab the PS3 version instead, but now I can grab it on my new system guilt free (and I will finally have something to play on it).
