Coinciding with the launch of its new website, Wargame: Red Dragon fires off a short, decisive video flashing by hundreds of air and land vehicles. Then it introduces the east Asian theater of war, an increased importance of topography and terrain maneuvering, and a rollout of new naval and amphibious units. The trailer reiterates the delicate rock-paper-scissors of land-based warfare, air superiority, and naval support. Looks like it's a complex interweaving of highly impersonal combat, which can be a good time — but isn't a juggling act for the faint of heart.
Wargame: Red Dragon is the third entry in the Wargame series, preceded by Wargame: AirLand Battle and Wargame: European Escalation.
Wargame: Red Dragon is due on PC in Q2 2014.
