This Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare video details the four-player co-op mode called Gardens and Graveyards. It's a "combination platter" of the conquest and rush modes from Battlefield 4. Zombies raise graveyards by squatting in highlighted zones — conquest style — pushing gardens back. Plants grow tower defenses around gardens to fight back zombies. Likewise, zombies summon zombie pals from dirt piles, storming the objective.
Everything you do, from headshots to kills to assists, fills your wallet with stickers. The stickers are currency in the shop. The shops house equipment and variants much like Mass Effect 3's crate-purchasing system. Garden Warfare has no problem exposing elements lifted from its EA labelmates.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is out next week on February 25 for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
