Zombie survival game, Rust, just sold a million pre-alpha copies and then cut out all the zombies. Goat Simulator was just supposed to be a joke – until the Internet clamored for it to become a reality. And also a Happy Valentine's Day/Singles Awareness Day to you all.
What are you playing this weekend?

I had intended to work on a couple games last weekend. Then I got hit with a review of One Piece: Romance Dawn that saw me trudge through several hours worth in three days. Needless to say, when I start watching the anime again, I can probably skip the first several episodes because I pretty much know what's going to happen, thanks to the unnecessarily long text-based cutscenes. For this weekend, since I'll still be doing some hardcore studying for my first computer certification, I won't be doing much gaming. What little I'll be doing will likely be finishing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I finally figured out what dungeon to go to next in Lorule after getting through the Link to the Past equivalents of the first and fourth dungeons in the Dark World. Yeah, trying to take things in the same order: not the best of ideas.

Pretty straight forward for me: Bravely Default has consumed my soul. I'm not going to be happy until my village is completely rebuilt and my four warriors are walking entities of destruction.

I'm diving headlong into Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze in preparation for my review next week. So the forecast is a cold front of flipping hard moving across the city with possible nostalgia showers into the evening.

This weekend I'll be reviewing Line of Defense Tactics and then spending some time with Divinity: Original Sin for an upcoming impressions article. If time permits, I'll continue adventuring with my newly created character in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning that I recently picked up during a sale on Steam.

This will probably be a slow gaming weekend as I've got a ski trip planned with the girlfriend. But I'll being playing a lot of Threes! and hopefully some Titanfall when we get back from the trip Saturday night.

This week's World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition launch did two things. First, it showed me what happens when a recovering tank-battle addict (cough) is once again handed that crack pipe. And second, it instilled me with an inflated sense of skill, simply because there are so many WoT newbies on 360 that my out-of-date experience still keeps them in my sights more than I'm in theirs. Also, I'll carry on with my blind run through the original Fallout. So far, the targeting system, VATS, hands out the biggest chuckles, since Fallout lets you specifically target a rat in the groin, or a Radscorpion in the brain, which is ridiculous (-ly awesome).

I will be diving into Battlefield 4 again with some of my friends. I'm starting to get my things in order on Diablo III as the auction house is ending next month. I'm also continuing my quest to be drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers on NBA 2K14. I seemed to have been drafted by everyone but them.
