It seems like it's been years since the original announcement of South Park: The Stick of Truth. In fact, most people can't even tell you when that date was and, honestly, neither can we. Numerous delays have plagued the development of the title and many have wondered if the game would ever get released. After a November announcement from developer Ubisoft seem to mark the game for deletion after what had to be the 47th delay in the game, South Park: The Stick of Truth has an official release date, and it's sooner rather than later. The title will be released on March 4, 2014, as in roughly three weeks from now. This is a heck of a 180 for the title that has seen its fair share of criticism for its delay, but if the game ends up being anywhere close to good, fans should get their barbs in now. Ubisoft has always been a company that puts the quality of the title over a release date, so time will tell whether the game is truly worth the many delays it has seen. So, standby gamers: The Stick of Truth is almost here.
