QuakeCon 2014 will be a month early this year

North America's largest free LAN party, QuakeCon, is in its 19th year. Per tradition, QuakeCon 2014 will be held in Dallas, Texas, this time at the Hilton Anatole Hotel from July 17 - 20 (instead of its usual August date). Also, per tradition, it's open to the public and free of charge – just bring your own computer.

There will be tournaments, presentations, contests, entertainment, announcements, panel discussions, and parties aplenty. Bethesda will show off upcoming games, offering attendees the chance to go hands-on with some of them. Those hands-on titles may or may not include Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Evil Within, or The Elder Scrolls Online.
