At a private Capcom event yesterday, Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced that Western gamers will finally be getting their hands on Monster Hunter 4, a game that has sold over 4 million copies in Japan. The title will remain a 3DS exclusive, and fans can expect it in!....early 2015.
This is probably because Capcom is re-releasing it in the West as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, an enhanced edition that is getting a late 2014 release in Japan as Monster Hunter 4G. It's nice of them to save the best for last here in the West, but it's a little disappointing that Western gamers have to wait at least another whole year to get a game that's been flying off the shelves in Japan.
