article how fans of the MMO Ryzom are raising money to save the game. Rather than just propping up the developer of the game they are raising money to purchase the source code of the game. Not only will this allow them to keep the game online but it will allow them to develop new content for the game. This is exceedingly cool and hopefully the game does fall into the public domain.
