Living and working in Singapore, William Chua takes iconic video games and stirs them up with a Japanese Ukiyo-e art style. Ukiyo-e is a genre of woodblock prints and paintings that flourished in Japan circa 17th to 19th centuries. Chua has been working on his "80's warrior's record" project since 2009, and every single one of them is awesome. These prints are inspired by everything from Super Mario Bros. to The Legend of Zelda, from Contra to Golden Axe. Prints are $36, available on Chua's Behance profile.
