Kojima Productions is ramping up the promotion for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, the prologue to MGS 5: The Phantom Pain. Due out next spring, Ground Zeroes really changes up the gameplay in a number of ways, as demonstrated in this daytime "Side-Ops" mission. Side-Ops lets you complete sidequests at previously visited locations, but with new objectives and at different times of day.
I like how hardcore players can turn off the "reflex mode" feature that lets you save yourself from instant detection. It's also cool to see MGS function as both a stealth game in normal gameplay and as a competent action game when you're detected, as things go seriously FUBAR in this trailer but Snake can still cope with that situation quite well. The recharging health, though...I don't know. I think that's taking things a bit too far.
