Wargaming.net has announced today that the open beta for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition will be accepting registration from November 7th (aka yesterday) until Sunday November 10th. Once that window closes, you will no longer be able to register for the beta and will have to wait for the release of the full game to get your console-based tank on.
During the open beta weekend, signing up for a beta key will not be necessary. Simply download the game client from the Xbox Live Marketplace and you're good to go.
As a thanks to everyone who takes part in the Open Beta Weekend, everyone who takes part in 5 battles on Saturday, November 9th between 5pm and 8pm PST (8pm and 11pm EST) will get a nice shiny USA Ram II tier V medium tank to play with when the game comes out, and everyone who has taken part in the beta in general will get an American T14 tier III heavy tank. They'll also be running a double XP weekend from 2am PST on Saturday, November 9th until 2am Monday, November 11th (in the East, that's 5am Saturday to 5am Monday EST).
So what are you waiting for? It's 10am on Friday. Why are you still reading this? Go get in on that hot tank-on-tank action.
