The original Soulcalibur was my favorite fighting game of all-time and arguably the best game on the Sega Dreamcast. Soulcalibur II maybe never reached those lofty heights, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be excited for its impending "HD" re-release on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.
Along with a new coat of HD paint, Soulcalibur II will feature online multiplayer, brand-new online modes that celebrate its 10 year anniversary, and for the first time, the characters of Spawn and Heihachi will be playable on both platforms.
Soulcalibur II HD will hit the digital marketplace later this month on November 19. It will strike your wallet's weak point for massive damage to the tune of $19.99.
If waiting until November 19 is going to be too hard, maybe this video showing off Maxi and Mitsurugi can slake your craving.
