The Black Ops series has zombies. So what does Infinity Ward do to try and top that? How about aliens? That's right, aliens.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be introducing a new 4 player co-op mode called Extinction. in it, you'll be fighting off waves of aliens and they look downright mean. They kind of remind of the Zerg with their speed and agility. They certainly will be different from the lumbering zombies in the Black Ops series.
I actually am a little intrigued at how well this is going to work. I've always liked the zombie mode and fighting off hordes of aliens with three others sounds like a ton of fun. Perhaps this will be like an action packed X-Com.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is due out next week so enjoy this look at the Extinction mode for the game.
