Oh boy, now this is fun. I'm currently in the process of reviewing Flying Wild Hog's reboot of Shadow Warrior (and having a shamelessly immature good time) so this news brightened my day. Devolver Digital, publisher of Shadow Warrior, is teaming up with Volition for a crossover that is...certainly unique. If you own Volition's Saints Row IV on Steam you will automatically unlock that game's "Penetrator" weapon as an alternative to the katana in Shadow Warrior. If you don't know what the Penetrator is I'm sure you can find plenty of gameplay videos on Youtube, but suffice it to say that with so much swordplay in Shadow Warrior, this crossover has a lot of potential for sophomoric laughs.

Shadow Warrior to sever the heads off of demons. We know, and yet we can’t really believe it ourselves.
Shadow Warrior is set to launch via Steam for PC on September 26, 2013.
Saints Row IV is currently available for Steam, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
