More details and screen shots from the Grand Theft Auto V Special and Collector's Edition content

Grand Theft Auto V is almost here... ARGHHHH the waiting is horrible I know, buy hey, September 17th will be here before you know it! In the meantime, Rockstar sent us some new info about all of the content you receive if you pre-ordered either the Special Edition of the Collector's Edition. 

Additional Weapons

• Regardless of whether or not you pre-ordered the Special or Collector's Edition, your local Ammu-Nation will always have a pair of special firearms with their own customization options, skins and attachments. You will get the .50 Caliber Pistol, the Bullpup Shotgun and the Hammer, a brutal melee weapon. 

Bonus Outfits, Tattoos and More

• Michael, Franklin and Trevor will receive a 20% discount along with access to special items in their personal wardrobes or from the stores. Each character will receive one special outfit, one article of clothing, a special haircut, facial hair look and tattoo.

Custom Characters for Grand Theft Auto Online (Collector's Edition only)

• GTA Online will feature a new take on a character creation system. Players will select their appearance by choosing their parents heritage. You can then use the gene dominance meter to dial-in which parent your character favors more. Everything you do will have an impact on your character's appearance and skill set. Additionally, those who pre-order will get Niko Bellic, along with Claude and Misty from Grand Theft Auto III as parent options. 

Special Ability Boost. 

• Michael, Franklin and Trevor each have their own special ability that can be activated once the special ability bar is filled. Michael slows down time in gun fights helping him pick off targets with greater ease. Franklin is a skilled driver and can slow down time to help him quickly navigate through traffic. Trevor's special ability sends him into a rage, causing him to do double damage to enemies while only taking half as much damage when he is hit. With the boosts from the special and Collector's Editions, the special ability bar for all characters will generate 25% faster. 

Stunt Plane Trials. 

• In five challenges, you will travel through the city attempting to get your plane through a maze of checkpoints. Completing each Trial will improve the piloting skill of your character. 

Unique Vehicles and garage Property (Collector's Edition Only) 

• The Collector's Edition will come with an exclusive garage to store custom vehicles and will come with the CarbonRS sports pike and the Hotknife, an open frame 1930's style hotrod. In GTA Online your garage and the Khamelion electric car, which is exclusive to GTA Online are both purchased through the in game phone.
