Looking to get
Total War: Rome II when it's released on September 3rd? Well that won't be the only thing you're getting. Those who pick up
Total War: Rome II will also receive access to
Total War: Arena when it becomes available. Total War: Arena is a free-to-play game currently in development by Creative Assembly. You'll get advanced beta access, exclusive in-game Legion Armoury bonuses, and roughly fifteen dollars (USD) of in-game currency (though terms and conditions apply, check out
www.totalwar.com/arena for details). You'll also earn Legion status and can experience the massed battle MMO before it opens up to everyone.
That's pretty nice in and of itself, but Creative Assembly has also released a new Let's Play video that fans of the series should enjoy. Check out
Total War: Rome II's AI Studio Communications Manager Al Bickham as he takes his Macedonian forces against Rome in a straight-up, open terrain skirmish match...on Very Hard difficulty. This should be interesting to say the least.
