Payday 2 is set to be released in a few weeks on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC and today 505 Games shows us how to execute the perfect bank heist.
We first get a look at some of the new additions in the game including the ability to invest money in items before the heist even begins including insider info about the location of security cameras, the bank manager and the vault.
Payday 2 also allows your team to choose how they want the heist to play out. They can go in guns blazing or go for a more stealthy approach. 505 Games chooses the stealth approach but things won't always go the way you want them to as we see in the video.
We also get to see just how much depth they added in terms of gameplay in the sequel. Since your teammates are wearing heavy armor, they can't walk into the bank without arising suspicion. Since one player is the ghost and is in plain clothes, he can enter through the back door. Unfortunately the bank manager decides to go outside for a smoke break he has to me subdued in order to get the key-card. A guard then decides to take a smoke break as well and is taken out as a result. One player is the mastermind so after a guard is killed, he can tell the other guards via the walkie talkie that everything is fine and there is no need to sound the alarms. We also see some of the new equipment in the game such as a jammer that will take out security cameras for a short time.
Check out the full video below so you can see one of the many ways to plan and execute heists in the game.
