All I know is, Phil Fish pulled a Kanye on Twitter and now Fez 2 is vapor. Mike Tyson played Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and got dropped by Glass Joe. And a two-month long war just culminated in a record-breaking 4,000-man battle in EVE Online.
What are you playing this weekend?

I'll be spending more time with
BIT.TRIP FATE and
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team for my reviews on them in a week or so. Beyond that, I finished
Mega Man Unlimited last week so I might go back to my Steam list to see what all else I can tackle before vacation.

This week will be a backlog week for me. I am gonna try my best to play and actually finish some games I have had sitting around for a while and some games I have recently gotten into again. First up, I know it didn't get the best reviews, but I started playing
Lollipop Chainsaw again. I guess it's just my love for all things Suda51 and it's a way for me to pass the time before
Killer Is Dead comes out. Second, I know its not really "backlog," but I am getting some
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive games in before I don't play it for years, which I have sadly done with
Counter-Strike Source. Finally, I'll be playing errand boy for all the citizens of "Nateville" In
Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Seriously, a pear tree is
right behind you! Get it your damn self!

I was curious about the changes made in
The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition for Wii U, so I picked that up on sale. I'll be doing plenty of web-slinging this weekend. I'm also getting into
Toki Tori 2 on Steam for my review.

This weekend I will be playing catch up on some games that are staring at me on my PS3, namely
Mamorukun Curse!, as long as I can pull myself away from
Dragon's Crown; I need to finish the game with my third character and perhaps start on the fourth. Must. Find. More. Loot.

I'm going to be diving into and hopefully wrapping up
Rise of the Triad this weekend. The game is super fast compared to every other FPS out there and that's taking a bit of adjusting to. I'll also be getting in some time with
MechWarrior Online as PGI release Sarah's Jenner mech earlier than expected--and it's a joy to have on the battlefield.

Forest fires are smoking out southern Oregon, so I’m bouncing to the coast for a few days of fresh air. I’ve queued up two days’ worth of passive training in
EVE Online, so by the end of the weekend I’ll have maxed out my gunnery skill, hit level four of five in Minmatar destroyers, and be due for upgrading my clone from epsilon to zeta grade. I'm also heading further south in
Fallout: New Vegas, slowly. And by “slowly” I mean that I walk unless I need to run in combat. No idea why I punish my myself with self-imposed rules like that. But it's how I roll.

I picked up
Arcania: The Complete Tale, so expect a review for that soon. Other than that, I'm hitting up as many flash-based arcade games I can dig up on Google in preparation for the opening of The 16-Bit Bar + Arcade here in Columbus. My "ASS" high score empire will reign supreme!
