Ahhh, the infamous Steam summer sale--a boon to every gamer's hoard and a bane to every billfold. This week also saw the tenth anniversary of
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, largely hailed as The Best Star Wars Game Ever Made (and, incidentally, was on Steam sale for a few bucks this week). Also, in case you were wondering, the Xbox One was in stock here, then out of stock there, while halfway sorta kinda declaring that Family Sharing features might return if there's enough public demand for it.
What are you playing this weekend?

I should be wrapping up
Project X Zone, mainly so I can get the review done. For the most part I am enjoying it. My only main qualm is the fact that everything seems "set," so to speak. You can't travel to towns or cities and purchase items. All items you get are found by defeating enemies in battle.
My non-Gaming Nexus gaming will consist of one thing: Mega Man Unlimited. I'm getting so close to defeating my second robot master, which, at the rate I'm going, looks to be Yo-Yo Man (to everyone who joked about Sheep Man, I think this trumps it. His stage seems to be one of the easier stages and his attacks aren't too bad to avoid once you know where to stand.

I am fully locked into my review piece of
NCAA Football 14. I have an Online Dynasty that is getting ready to start up, but until I get a good set of rosters for the dynasty itself, I have been getting entertained by Ultimate Team.

Ill be playing some games to help erase
Motorbike from my memory.

I just dropped way too much on a 3DS XL and games, so I'm trying hard to avoid the Steam summer sale. Luckily, I have
Super Mario 3D Land,
Star Fox 64 3D,
Donkey Kong County Returns 3D and
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to distract me. Not to mention my dozens of old DS games look really sharp on this big screen.

As crazy as it sounds, I am going to spend my weekend harvesting my fields in
Farming Simulator for the Vita. There. I said it publicly. In addition to that, I will likely try out a few of the Steam games I picked up during the summer sale, including
Mark of the Ninja and
Tomb Raider.

Due to the power of Steam Store gifting (and as a side effect of the summer sale), I'm now the proud owner of fantasy horse-breeding sim,
Secret of the Magic Crystals. The gifter shall remain anonymous, but his name rhymes with John Yan. The game's summary says I'll "make all kinds of horseshoes." Strangely, this doesn't sound like it'll provide much contrast to my regular regimen of
EVE Online.

I'm about six hours deep in\to
Bastion, so hopefully I'll have the time to finish that off. We'll see how my willpower holds out against the onslaught of Steam sales. Who knows, maybe I'll be playing
Abe's Oddysee or
Golden Axe by the end of the week.
