From the brilliant mind of Suda 51 who brought us the wild and crazy trip that was Killer7 comes his latest upcoming idiosyncratic game, Killer Is Dead. I often like to think of Suda 51 as the Quentin Tarantino of the game industry, expect his video games don’t consist of an excessive use of the “n” word, even though they still carry their abundance of profane content...and that doesn’t bother me one bit.
Anyways, Killer Is Dead is set to launch in stores everywhere on August 27th, but that’s not all. According to publisher XSEED Games, with every launch copy of Killer Is Dead includes an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack disc of 25 songs from Silent Hill series composer Akira Yamaoka, and a download code for the “Smooth Operator” DLC pack which gives extra missions and an alternate costume for the characters Vivienne and Mika.
My goodness... Can’t I just have it all now, please? This is such a wonderful consolation package with the purchase of the game and I thank XSEED Games for this tenfold, especially as a lover of Killer7. I don’t doubt Killer Is Dead will be a welcome new work of art from Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s resplendent portfolio.
