The newest original installment in the Legend of Zelda franchise is now called A Link Between Worlds, and Nintendo revealed a new gameplay trailer at its Nintendo Direct E3 conference today.
The new entry is a sequel to the SNES' A Link to the Past, using the art style of the Nintendo DS titles Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, as well as a mechanic that allows Link to flatten himself along walls. He uses this power to avoid falling during a platforming sequence in the new trailer, which also shows the different tools Link will come across in A Lin Between Worlds.
Although A Link Between Worlds has no definitive release date, Nintendo has said that it aims to release the 3DS game this holiday season.
