E3 2013: Don't forget Nintendo Direct!
Nintendo is sending out a press release to remind everyone that yes, they do have something big planned for E3, even if it isn't a press conference extravaganza like their competitors are throwing. There will be a live streaming Nintendo Direct event as the company unveils all of its new titles right from the show floor, and afterwards good old Reggie Fils-Aime will announce the four select games that will be demoing hands-on at select Best Buys across the country.
I'm hesitantly looking forward to this show as it's pretty clear Nintendo needs to blow everyone away to save the Wii U from fading away, and experience has taught me that when Nintendo is a cornered animal, they don't disappoint. Then again, with Xbox One looking less appealing by the day and PS4 still something of a mystery, maybe all Nintendo has to do is show up with some actual games this time to steal the show.
