As launch approaches, PS3 game issues arise

The Playstation 3 launch lineup had even thinner ranks as Sonic The Hedgehog was delayed and NBA Live 07 was outright cancelled according to a report by IGN. Both titles were expected to be top sellers, especially after Live 07 was used to demo the PS3 at E3.

The Sonic Delay shouldn't be long, as it was reported to be due to Sega wanting to provide downloadable content. Although a new date wasn't announced, it is still expected on store shelves by year end. The Live 07 cancellation was explained by EA as wanting to focus on NBA Street Homecourt.
