Artyom has had to travel a rough road, but he might find redemption in Metro Last Light. This trailer shows off a good summary of the game's story and environments, with some pretty freaky irradiated beasts as well. It looks like Deep Silver has really improved their engine and art design, which is saying something considering how bleakly gorgeous Metro 2033 was.

Redemption or perdition? Deep Silver releases new in game
trailer for Metro: Last Light
April 29, 2013 – LARKSPUR, CA - Deep Silver today released a new in game trailer for Metro: Last Light, titled ‘Redemption.’ Anna, the Spartan Order of Rangers’ top sniper and daughter of their uncompromising leader Miller, talks about the hope of the survivors that rests on Artyom’s shoulders. Will he be able to lead humanity to salvation, and find personal redemption in the tunnels of the Metro?
Metro: Last Light will be available from May 14, 2013 in North America and May 17, 2013 across Europe for PlayStation®3, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
