You're right. You've seen these
Grand Theft Auto V images before. You're just not sure where. Oh, right you are! They were both
cropped to fit the
GTA V box cover.
The first piece of art, titled "Cash and Carry: By Sea," features the story lead, Michael. He's the retired guy on the Jet Ski--pardon, I mean Speedophile 2000. He's making out like a bandit in front of the Santa Monica Pier--whoops, Santa
Maria Pier.
The second piece of art, called "Cash and Carry: By Land," is of Franklin, also getting his feet wet by dirt biking down San Andreas' seemingly perpetually dry equivalent of the LA River. It appears, however, that a Los Santos ghetto bird (
ask Ice Cube) is about to bump up Franklin's wanted level. Never forget, folks: Don't be a menace to South Central while drinking your juice in the hood.
Not certain if the artwork titles correspond to a specific mission, but one way or the other, I hope someone's either reciting a Longfellow poem about Paul Revere, or firing off one or two startling signals of some kind. And by "signals" I mean big, huge, particle effects-driven Hollywood explosions. Vinewood. Vinewood explosions.
