Borderlands 2 Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack is out now

by: Nathaniel -
More On: Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 has become a juggernaut of stuff.  No game is packed with as much stuff as Borderlands 2.  Besides its much advertised bazillion guns, it's got multiple story-based DLC packs, each relatively large and packed full of stuff of their own.  It started with four playable classes - each with its own associated stuff.  That became five soon after the game was released and it had its own stuff.  And when the Psycho Bandit class is released, there will be six.  And, no doubt, the Psycho Bandit will have his own stuff as well.  Finally there are 50 levels to attain spread across those charac......wait a minute, that's incorrect because now there are 61 levels to attain.

You can download the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack right now.  Along with an increase to the level cap, it adds new ultra rare stuff - pearlescent guns - and it adds a third playthrough called Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.  That means that eventually there will be 1,098 stuffs (6 characters x 61 levels x 3 playthrough) to attain if you want to achieve something approaching a "complete" Borderlands 2 experience.

You better get started.

The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack is free for Season Pass members and $4.99/400 Microsoft Points for everyone else.
