Major League Gaming (MLG) today revealed the details for League of Legends tournaments taking place during the MLG Winter Season.   Starting on February 26th the North American Summer Promotion Qualifier begins.  the inital 16 teams will get pared down to the final four that go to the Winter Championship which will be held in Dallas Texas, March 15-17.  There you will find the conclusion to the Summer Promotion Qualifier with the top team taking home a purse of $30,000 in prize money!  If you can't make it to Dallas you can catch it all on www.majorleaguegaming.com.  Hit the break below for all the details!
 
League of Legends – Major League Gaming Winter Season
 
North American Summer Promotion Qualifier – 16 teams, final four go to Winter Championship to compete for $30,000 in prizes and a spot in the May Promotion Tournament into the LCS
16 Teams including the Top 12 Challenger Tier Teams (or highest rated Diamond teams) as of Thursday, February 21 at 8pm PST, along with the Top 4 Teams from the MLG Rising Stars Invitational will compete online in this single elimination qualifier.  The final four teams in the online qualifier will receive all expenses paid trips to finish the tournament live at the MLG Winter Championship in Dallas for a chance at $30,000 in prizes. The winning team will receive $20,000 and a spot in the May Promotion Tournament into the LCS.

League of Legends Tournaments at the MLG Winter Championship - $45,000 in Prizes total for North American Summer Promotion Qualifier and International Exhibition
In addition to the conclusion of the North American Summer Promotion Qualifier where the top four teams will compete for $30,000 in prizes and a spot in the May Promotion Tournament into the LCS, the Winter Championship in Dallas, Texas, from March 15-17 includes an International Exhibition Tournament and Season Three North American League Championship Series (LCS) matches.
 
In the International exhibition, four top teams from around the globe will compete in a single elimination bracket for $15,000 in prizes and a first place prize of $10,000.  Teams will be announced at the end of February. 
 
The LCS matches will feature all eight teams from the North American LCS playing LIVE.  Over the weekend, each team will play three action-packed matches.
