Dragon's Dogma was probably the most surprisingly great game I've played in years. I know of no other "sword and bow" RPG that got real-time combat as right as Dragon's Dogma did. Everything from the weapons to the enemy encounters were almost always perfectly executed.
But if you're like me and your adventures in the dangerous land of Gransys have long since petered out, then soon you'll have an excuse to dive back in with the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion. This trailer shows some of the new enemies you'll be facing. From fire surians, to Death himself, there is much danger waiting for you on Bitterblack Isle.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will allow previous owners of the game to import their save file, while new players can jump straight into Dark Arisen to experience the game from the beginning. It will be available on April 23 in North America and April 26 in Europe.
