Creator of last year's indie surprise of
Waveform, developer
Eden Industries has unveiled their next project in development titled
Citizens of Earth. In the upcoming role-playing game, players assume the role of the Vice President of the World as he is visiting his hometown for some much-deserved vacation after winning the vice presidency. However, not all is well and he soon discovers that he'll have to use the aid of various townsfolk to investigate the town's odd happenings and battle any enemies that stand in his way.
Citizens of Earth is a strong contrast from other traditional role-playing games as players won't be using warriors or mages, but instead will employ the use of characters like the baker, barista, school teacher, homeless guy, and others described as "seemingly ordinary characters brought to life in unique and charming ways."
As I absolutely
fell in love with Waveform, I'm thrilled to to see another game in development from Eden Industries that looks as it will contain their unique design and risk to take on new gameplay concepts. I'll be keeping a close eye on Citizens of Earth during the course of its development. For now, you can check out the first set of screenshots and concept art for the game below.
