There had been rumors and leaks for a few weeks now about the first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 and we now have confirmation of these details.
Titled "Revolution" the first DLC content drop features four new maps, one zombies map, a new gun and also for the first time ever, the ability to play as the zombies in the zombies game mode.
Downhill - Set in the ski country of the French Alps. Players fight their way down the slopes and through a ski lodge while avoiding the hazards of the gondola system.
Hydro - Players must dodge flood waters as they contend for dominance of this dam facility in Pakistan filled will spillways. The twist of this map is that during the course of the match, the map will flood and if you are in the path of the gushing water.... yeah say goodnight.
Mirage - Players light each other up in the sand dunes of a dilapidated luxury resort in the Gobi Desert. Features plenty of long-distance combat for snipers and plenty of close quarters combat for run and gun fans as well.
Grind - Venice Beach California, the birthplace of skateboarding. Players battle through ramps and half pipes of a massive skate park.
Die Rise - A brand new zombies map where players will wield powerful, upgradable weaponry and build new devices to fight off the hoard. Treyarch has also added a new game mode called "Turned" which finally allows gamers to play as the zombies.
Peacekeeper SMG - The final piece of content for the content pack is the first ever DLC gun for the Call Of Duty series. The Peacekeeper is a powerful new SMG and will also bring its own set of weapon challenges for additional XP.
The first content pack will be available on January 29th on Xbox live first for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points. The map pack will be free if you purchased the seasons pass which costs $49.99 or 4000 Microsoft Points.
