Arma 3 postponed to 2013 due to "unexpected circumstances"

Developer Bohemia Interactive has announced that Arma 3 will be postponed for release until next year as a result of unexpected development issues, most notably in reference to the detainment of two developers in Greece. Joris-Jan van ‘t Land has taken over the role of Project Lead for Arma 3 after Daniel Musil left the studio for other pursuits. Joris-Jan spoke in regards to the developers that were arrested on suspicion of espionage while on their holiday in Lemnos, "We're still trying to make sense of the situation and hope that our colleagues will be released soon. Although their plight has certainly affected us on a personal level, we continue working on the tasks identified as key to the release of Arma 3."
Arma 3 is now scheduled for release in 2013 with a more complete announcement that's expected to arrive at the beginning of next year with specific details. We'll be sure to update you with further news regarding the development of Arma 3 and the two detained developers as it's delivered our way.
