As we near the 25th anniversary of Mega Man, a lot of people are planning their own celebrations of the Blue Bomber in different ways. Probably because all we've seen from Capcom is Rockman Xover...and I'd like to pretend that didn't happen, although a Q&A in a recent issue of Nintendo Power stated that Capcom hopes to have Mega Man 1-6 on the 3DS eShop, but I'll believe it when I see it. Anyway, a friend on Facebook posted a trailer to a fan-made Mega Man game that someone has in the works...and this time it's NOT Mega Man Unlimited.
Currently titled "Mega Man 25th Anniversary", the game resembles the 8-bit games a lot of us grew up with, only it seems like Team Reaverbot is looking to incorporate some aspects of another Mega Man series. So far the game looks pretty good as the trailer shows battles against Bio Man and Tarot Man...and if you think Tarot Man sounds strange, remember that we officially have a Sheep Man. The game will give the ability to switch between Mega Man and Proto Man between stages, plus you get the ability to summon Tango from Mega Man V for Game Boy.
With Mega Man Unlimited in the works and now Mega Man 25th Anniversary, I'm chomping at the bit for one of these games to get done soon so I can tear through them.
