The Wii U may have sold around 400,000 its first week of release, but Microsoft's shouting out some numbers that would make Nintendo a little envious. For the week of Black Friday, 750,000
Xbox 360's
were sold. Not too shabby for a seven year old product.
One stat I didn't like was Xbox Live Gold subscription cards sales increased 50% over last year's Black Friday. I haven't had Xbox Live Gold in almost a year and haven't missed it, but you can't stop this cash cow for Microsoft it seems. Color me as one who's tired of paying for online play and other features such as Netflix accessibility.
In any case, that's a lot of Xbox 360's still moving about. I know they had some good deals over the weekend, but to see it move this many after all this time is still pretty amazing.
