A conference call was held by Blizzard and two bits of news came out as
reported by Gamespy.
First up,
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is not going to be before the end of the year, but will be out sometime in the first half of 2013. I never did get into Wings of Liberty, but I hope Heart pulls me in. This isn't surprising news given that we only have two months left in the year.
The other bit of news is that Blizzard has confirmed that they are working on an expansion pack for
Diablo III. Now, no details were given as to what we'll be getting, but it's coming. I'm still playing Diablo III like a madman for some unknown reason and I've finally got a pretty solid witch doctor with a good amount of gold. So, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out in terms of continuing the story setup in Diablo9 III.
