Okami HD now available on PSN
If you're one of the many gamers who never experienced the glory of Okami, then now is your big chance: the PS2 classic has finally made it to the PS3, with HD and Move support. I know, $20 might seem a bit steep for a six year old game, but then again Okami is pretty timeless. It shares a lot of gameplay elements with the Zelda series, but has its own distinctive Japanese watercolor art style and an epic story that manages to be at once whimsical, poignant and stirring.
The PS3 HD version sounds like the definitive edition of the game, with both Move motion controls and Dualshock 3 if you want to play in classic mode. That said, I'm pretty happy with the 480p Wii version I got a few years ago. I'm still not too keen on Move--it's basically a Sony Wiimote that would make me re-buy a bunch of Wii games in HD--and besides, I have an 80+ hour save file on my Wii copy. No way I'm starting from scratch!
