DICE and EA have officially lifted the veil on the next batch of DLC headed to
Battlefield 3, entitled Aftermath. The new pack will take players to the shattered districts, streets, and villages of a post-earthquake Iran. As a result of the preceding natural disaster, players will be forced to battle through dust and rubble in an urban setting. There will be 4 new maps in the pack, as well as a new game mode and a new weapon in the form of the crossbow. The pack will also bring a slew of modified military and civilian vehicles to the game to make the new setting more manageable.
The exact release date has not been announced but it is on schedule for a December 2012 release. You can check out the reveal trailer and first screenshots for the new pack below.
