PlayStation Plus members take note, because a battle is brewing. In roughly 24 hours, with tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update, Sony and Superbot will officially launch the public beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Plus members will be able to download the beta test on the PS3 tomorrow and it will be available to everyone with next week’s update, on October 23, 2012. On the Vita however, everyone will be able to get their hands on the game tomorrow.
The beta test, which will end on October 30, will support 6 playable characters and full Cross-Play support. This means that PS3 and Vita users will be facing off against one another, showcasing the interaction between the 2 platforms. As for the playable characters, you will have access to the same 6 characters that I used in my preview of the game last month: Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess. There are two stages included as well: Metroplis and Hades.
Check out the trailer below and be sure to get a taste of the game with tomorrow’s update.
