The big question following Nintendo’s
Wii U preview conference a few weeks back was which games would be available when the console hits stores on November 18. There are a lot of titles shown at the event, but nearly all of them were labeled as being available during the system’s “launch window”, which is actually a 4-5 month span (up until March 31, 2013). Now, Nintendo is hoping to put an end to the confusion with a firm list of 23 titles that will arrive in stores alongside their new console.
Confirmed to be arriving in stores on or by November 18 (some may actually be available a few days earlier) are the following titles:
-
Assassin’s Creed III
-
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
-
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
-
Darksiders II
-
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
-
EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13
-
ESPN Sports Connection
-
Game Party Champions
-
Just Dance 4
-
New Super Mario Bros. U
-
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
-
Nintendo Land
-
Rabbids Land
-
Scribblenauts Unlimited
-
SiNG Party
-
Skylanders Giants
-
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
-
Tekken Tag tournament 2 Wii U Edition
-
Transformers Prime
-
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper
-
Wipeout 3
-
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013
-
ZombiU
There are roughly 33 more games expected to launch before Spring, but those dates have not been finalized. You have to admit, this is a much better lineup than the Wii launched with back in 2006. There seems to be a lot more third party support happening this time around, even if a couple of the games have been available previously on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
