Digital gaming is slowly becoming the standard and
Playstation Network is jump starting that standard starting next month
For those with massive hard drives and those who don't want to travel to stores or shop online to buy games
Playstation Network has announced the "PSN Day 1 Digital" program which will offer full digital game purchases on release day.
Though you can currently buy the full version of Borderlands 2 on PSN right now, the program officially goes into effect on October 2nd. To find games that are available, simply check out the new "PSN Day 1 Digital" category in the Playstation store. Even though the games won't be available until their release date, you can pre-order select titles ahead of time and select titles will be offered at a 10% discount for Playstation Plus members.
Here is the list of games that will be available for the month of October.
Games marked with "*" can be pre-ordered and games marked with "+" will get a 10% discount for PS Plus members during its first week of availability.
