At the Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary event in Japan, Hideo Kojima showed off a new Metal Gear Solid game titled
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Gamespot
has a report from the event and while no footage was taken, there is one picture and some talk on the event.
The game's running on the new Fox Engine, which is the engine powering the next line of MGS and other games. It allows Kojima to quickly develope cross platform games as well as looking pretty bad ass so there is a possibility that a new Metal Gear game will show up on multiple platforms at once.
From what's been described, it sounds a little more open world and Kojima's hoping to bring some new spin on the stealth genre. A lot of times, you lose when you get spotted, but Kojima's looking to allow you to use your tools and skills to get away.
We'll be sure to post some footage as soon as it's available, but check out the picture below as a teaser for Ground Zeroes.
