Paradox Interactive's upcoming A Game of Dwarves just got a new trailer at Gamescom.
According to Paradox, this game is about "A dwarven prince on a quest to reclaim his people’s old country (that) takes the player on a journey through a continent, uncovering the buried mysteries of the Great War. With a combination of strategy and management, the player rules their settlements of dwarves, having them explore the earth and utilize its resources." Of course, the player takes on the role of the prince.
Gameplay wise, the player will order groups of dwarves around a settlement that you have created and have them craft, build and conduct research in order to strengthen their clan. While doing so players will have to defend themselves from beasts while they explore and dig deeper into the earth. There will also be a leveling system, wherein dwarves will level up as the player progresses and gain new skills.
