Criterion doesn’t appear to be letting go of the Need for Speed series any time soon. The house that built Burnout has taken tight hold of the franchise’s reigns since EA gladly handed them over a few years back. After tackling Hot Pursuit, this Fall they will be bringing an updated version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted to consoles and the PlayStation Vita.
EA and Criterion revealed the first multiplayer trailer for the game today which gives gamers a glimpse of the frantic, 12-player action in the game. You and your friends will be able to jump into the open world of Fairhaven City and prove yourself where it counts: on the streets.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on October 30, 2012.
