MLG and League of Legends crown a champion
Team Azubu Blaze hails from Korea, and at the recently held debut of the Major League Gaming League of Legends Arena, Azubu Blaze took the gold by defeating North American powerhouse Team Solo Mid (TSM). In fact, Azubu Blaze only lost one map all weekend.
Azubu Blaze was also the first Korean team every to participate in a League of Legends tournament held outside of Korea.

Later this summer, the League of Legends Summer Championship will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina from August 24th through August 26th. 12 teams have qualified: Team Solo Mid, Curse NA, CLG NA, Dignitas, Team Dynamic, MTW NA, Orbit Gaming, TSM EVO, Legion, Meat Playground, CLG Black, and UnResricted esports.

Korean Team Azubu Blaze dominated the inaugural
Major League Gaming (MLG)
Summer League of Legends Arena capturing 1st place and $10,000. Marking the first time a Korean team has ever participated in a League of Legends tournament outside of Korea, Azubu Blaze lived up to the hype and knocked North American favorite Team Solo Mid (TSM) to second place. In the finals, Azubu Blaze went up against TSM for the second time during the three-day competition and took all three games. The Korean team lost only one map all weekend.
League of Legends Summer Arena – Final Standings:

Third Place: Curse Gaming
Fourth Place: Team Black
The League of Legends competition will continue at the Summer Championship in Raleigh from August 24-26 where 12 teams will compete for $40,000 in prizes. Now that the LoL Summer Championship Online Qualifiers have concluded, all 12 teams have been confirmed for the Raleigh event, which is also the last chance for North American teams to earn points for Riot Game’s Season 2 Challenger Circuit NA Regionals. Matches will be streamed live for free in standard definition and fans can upgrade to HD for the event to see everything ad-free in up to 1080p.
