This past Monday evening,
Major League Gaming broadcasted the North American Online Arena Qualifiers for their first ever
League of Legends Arena. In the NA bracket, the final qualifying match saw second ranked Curse Gaming take out fourth ranked Orbit Gaming 2-1. Meanwhile over in the European bracket, eight ranked BLACK defeated third ranked Curse Europe 2-0. That would have been awesome if we had two teams moving on named Curse, or maybe that's just me.
Both of those teams will receive an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to compete in the Summer
League of Legends Arena from August 3rd - 5th for a chance to win $10,000. The Arena will feature four of the world's best teams, including the NA and EU bracket winners Curse Gaming and BLACK, as well as two invited teams. Every match of the tournament will be broadcasted across three streams, all free in standard definition, or you can upgrade to HD to watch in up to 1080p and without ads.
To check out the streams, head over to
www.majorleaguegaming.com/LIVE on August 3rd from 5pm - 11pm, August 4th from 2pm - 8pm, and August 5th from 10am - 7pm. Though not listed, I'm guessing these are all EST since they'll be in New York City.
