More game news coming out from Comic-Con as Epic announced
Fortnite will be the company's first Unreal Engine 4 game. The looks of the game seems more cartoonish than one to really show off the power of the next iteration of the Unreal Engine, but that's what they are going with for now.
The games has you building up a fort to withstand a nightly assault from monsters and what not. It's a sandbox co-op game that's going to be coming out only for the PC for now. There's a possibility for other ports, but Cliff Bleszinksi
said that, "Next-gen is here. It’s a high-end PC.'
You can expect Fortnite to be released sometime in 2013.
Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Epic Games revealed the very first look at the co-op sandbox survival game Fortnite during its panel along with new details about the title.
During the panel, Epic Games announced that Fortnite is the very first game using Epic's revolutionary Unreal Engine 4 and is being developed for PC release in 2013. In Fortnite, players will explore, forage, collaborate and build by day in their own dynamic and expanding world. At night, they'll work together to defend their prized fortress from the forces of darkness.
