Yesterday, Warner Bros. announced two new characters joining the roster for
Injustice: Gods Among Us. First up is Batman's protoge, Nightwing. He's sporting his familiar black and blue outfit and is carrying his Eskrima truncheons that he fights with. I would expect Nightwing to have an array of Batman style gadgets at his disposale.
Cyborg's the other new member and as his name entails, he's partly mechanical. I think he's going to be another brute class for the series with some gadgets of his own that he can use.
Anyway, I can't wait to see the two in action. I really enjoyed both characters, especially Cyborg in the Teen Titans cartoon series.
Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment released new screenshots from Injustice: Gods Among Us revealing two new characters that will appear in the game - Cyborg and Nightwing. San Diego Comic-Con attendees can get their chance to play the game at DC Entertainment’s booth, #1915.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is an all-new game in development by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, creators of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. The game is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U™ system from Nintendo.
Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.
