Major League Gaming has released some new info about the summer StarCraft II Arena and streaming options for the summer season. StarCraft II will kick off the season from July 20th - 22nd where 32 of the world's best players will battle it out in New York City for a share of $26,400 in prize money. On top of that, the top eight will get an all-expenses paid trip to Raleigh, NC. to compete in the Summer Championship. The competition will be streamed live via three streams: the Main stream (free in standard definition), the Premium stream (HD and ad-free), and the Dr. Pepper stream (which I have no idea what that means). Fans who upgrade to the Premium HD stream can also utilize DVR-playback throughout the event.
On top of that, the Summer League of Legends Arena from August 3rd - 5th will also feature three streams: the Main gameplay stream and two Dr. Pepper streams. All three streams will be free in standard definition with the option to upgrade to HD to watch in 1080p. The Summer Fighter Arena (featuring Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur V) on August 10th will feature two streams: the Main stream and a Dr. Pepper stream. Again, both streams in standard definition with the option to upgrade to HD.
